If you wish, choose to add a charm link. We have a vast selection of birthstones, genuine pearls, opals, precious & semi precious gemstones, shapes, symbols, initials, and more. Some are created for you right on the spot!
Sized to fit YOU
Together we will find your perfect fit, cut your chain to size, & seal it together with a kiss from our micro-welder. We always offer clasps for custom-fit jewelry you can remove, for the same bespoke experience without the commitment. The process itself only takes about a minute & is, of course, completely painless.

Permanent? Like Forever, forever?
Permanent jewelry is seamless jewelry without a clasp. To remove, simply snip with a pair of scissors or nail clipper. Save your chain! We can re-weld your jewelry again or add a clasp at a later time. Or choose to add a clasp initially, for the same bespoke experience without the commitment of wearing it permanently.
How do I get one!?
You can book a time with us in-studio or at one of our pop-up events here.
Do I need an appointment?
Our studio is open by appointment only. You can meet us at a pop-up without an appointment though appointments are recommended. We accept walk-ups if there is ample time in between pre-booked appointments. To guarantee a spot at a pop-up event, booking an appointment is recommended. If an event doesn't have a booking link yet, join our email list to be notified when we do.

How much does it cost?
This depends on the chain you pick and if you add charms. Our menu of chains & charms is ever-changing so that you can continue to stack with new pieces. Here is what you can expect:
Sterling Silver
bracelets $55+ / anklets $75+ / necklaces $6+ per inch / charms $15+
Gold-Filled
bracelets $60+ / anklets $80+ / necklaces $7+ per inch / charms $20+
10K & 14K Gold
bracelets $120+ / anklets & necklaces $17+ per inch / charms $45+

I have a gift card. How do I use it towards permanent jewelry?
You can book a time with us in-studio or at one of our public pop-up events here. Some appointments require a deposit. If you plan to pay by gift card we will refund your credit card the deposit during your appointment.
Can children get permanent jewelry?
Yes, with permission from a guardian we offer permanent bracelets or anklets for children. Some chain exclusions may apply due to the thickness of chain. As children grow, simply snip with a scissor or nail clipper before the jewelry becomes too tight and return to us to add an extension, charm or clasp to accommodate the new size needed.
How do I remove my jewelry (personal reasons, MRI, surgery, etc.)?
Snip your chain with nail clippers or scissors. The best location to cut is at the ring we welded (its the ring that connects the chain together or if you have a charm it connects the chain to your charm). Don't stress it, we can repair it anywhere you cut. Hot Tip: Bring nail clippers to your procedure! Many clients have been able to keep their permanent jewelry on, even when told in advance they’d need to remove it. What if it breaks or I need cut it off temporarily?
No worries, we can always re-weld it. Contact us if you have questions about a repair or a reweld or simply book a reweld appointment at our studio, here. If the chain is beyond repair, a new one will need to be purchased. We do not cover the cost of lost or damaged chains or charms.
Can I hire you for an event?

Can I book a private event at your studio?
Yes! You can book a private event at our studio for groups of 6-12 people. Click here for available dates. Dates are available 1 month in advance. For future dates or alternate dates email sarah@wherewatermelonsgrow.com.
