Founder & designer, Sarah Jean began Where Watermelons Grow on Long Island where her love for the coast and its surrounding environment inspired her original work. Much of her collection is designed, fabricated, and finished in Sarah's studio, down by the bay in coastal Massachusetts where she and her family currently reside. 

"I enjoy working with pearls and other organic materials that effortlessly compliment a person's natural beauty," says Sarah Jean whose love for the ocean and coastal living carries over into her jewelry line, reflecting a life well lived by the sea.
