14k Gold-filled:

Gold-filled is the closet alternative to solid gold at a fraction of the cost. A thick layer of hold is bonded to a core of jewelers brass. Unlike plated jewelry, gold-filled jewelry and will not de-laminate or peel. Nor does it tarnish as readily as silver. It is high quality, durable, tarnish-resistant, nickel-free, and hypoallergenic.
